Mead Medical discusses the value of Xenex Systems with Director, Rob1 Nov 2022

In this video, we look at how Xenex Systems has equipped Mead Medical with a number of innovative and smart IT solutions to help improve the efficiency of their business and enable them to provide the highest possible care to their patients.

Mead Medical is a privately-owned general practice that has served the community of Kalamunda, Forrestfield and neighbouring suburbs for more than 60 years. With two locations, a large team of doctors and staff, as well as a considerable number of patients to manage, Mead Medical leans on us to provide proactive and contemporary technologies that ensure effortless daily operations.

Collean Guest, Practice Manager at Mead Medical, recognises the positive changes they have seen during our two-year partnership. “In that time, they have put in very efficient and effective systems and processes to help us grow with the industry.”

Rob Da Re, our Director, elaborates on the types of systems that we have implemented at Mead Medical. “Mead Medical uses Xenex for managed IT services, cloud-hosted servers, phone systems, and also internet”. This combination of services has improved the stability and reliability of their programs and phones and has helped lessen the worry for doctors and staff.

Rob adds that “by implementing our cloud-based servers with a private internet connection to our data centre, it enabled us to provide a private cloud, which means that information security is a lot stronger.”

Maintaining patient privacy has been further achieved through the implementation of a secure four-person call centre at the Kalamunda site. Incoming calls are directed away from the front desk so that call centre staff can speak privately to patients without the potential for others to overhear sensitive information. The call centre has also made social distancing possible throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
